Internet Marketing

How to use the Internet to market your Hypnosis or NLP business.

The Thirty Day Challenge (Internet marketing) is due to start literally in minutes.  At least in my time zone.  Some people are technically already started.

One of the web 2.0 applications we have been learning is called Twitter.  It seems kind of baffling at first, then more like a toy until I played with it a bit.  You can tell people what you are looking at on the Internet without leaving the site.  And you can give it a short comment.

When combined with RSS feeds, this can be broadcast out to a large number of people in real time.  I’m just beginning to see the power of web 2.0 for driving traffic to website, blogs, etc.

Here’s a screen shot of my Twitter page, just before I typed this post (while still on the Twitter page, thanks to Scribefire).

If you’ve ever wished someone would take the time to show you what leading edge Internet Marketing is all about, then you’ll want to check out the Thirty Day Challenge put on by Ed Dale.

If terms like Web 2.0, Blog, Del.ic.ious, Technorati, RSS, Flickr, Facebook, and Squidoo make no sense to you what-so-ever, then you’ll love the videos Ed has created that walk you through what these are and how you can use them.

What is the Challenge?  It’s an annual Internet Marketing competition.  This year the goal is to make $10 online in 30 days.  If you want to know "Why $10 Dollars?", because it’s an amount that anyone can believe is possible.

Also, the challenge is to make $10 without spending ANY money.  None.  Zip.  Nada.

Ed and his partner are going to show you how to generate traffic using Social Bookmarking, Blogging, and other leading edge Web 2.0 applications.

I have already learned a lot about some of the new web 2.0 tools, including a Firefox plugin called Scribefire that I’m using to write this post.

The Challenge starts tomorrow August 1st, but you can join even after it’s started.  Whether you decide to compete or not , is up to you, but if you want to learn how to use the web as a constant source of traffic for your site, then you won’t find this much detailed information for FREE anywhere else.

I’m going to participate, so I’ll have some updates about what I learn along the way.

The new Lensroll site is a really interesting way to follow popular Squidoo Lenses. This is a great example of a Web 2.0 application. Now, can you figure out how to use it in your marketing?
